yay, back from balai!! v eventful!

on sat i was late to meet audrey.. =( cuz i was uploading songs into my mp3 player to make my journey less boring.. din expect it to take so long.. anyway we missed the ferry! =X kinda panicked.. confirmed the tickets for the next ferry then we went for breakfast at mac's. din feel like eating a meal so i juz bought an egg mcmuffin. called singtel to find out how to call overseas.. then called pastor to let him noe tt we missed our ferry..

sat at the cruise centre to stone n chat with audrey.. felt irritated with pple who kept staring at our passports.. disgusting old man! we thought we missed the ferry cuz the tv screen showed ferry to balai last call already.. panicked.. turn out the ferry hasn't even arrived! managed to get window seat..slept.

reached balai at around 12pm.. saw ah yang.. he led us to take oplik to hotel Rasa Sayang. we checked in, i deposited my passport at the counter then went inside the room, while ah yang helped us to confirm our return tickets. pastor v naughty sia, called our room n faked room service! it was when he asked us whether we had ordered mcdonald fried chicken that i realised it was him! he asked us to go down in 5 min time.

we met the chinese cong pple.. then went for lunch. it was great! frenky n ah zui joined us there. after tt went to pastor's new hse.. discussed plans for the night. we were supposed to plan games for the children.. actually i was clueless to wad i was supposed to do there. anyway we planned treasure hunt n few other grp games.

walked to the church.. spent abt an hour pasting clues all over the area for the treasure hunt game.. tried to put candles into the lanterns, but they juz wun stick. went to the rooftop to decorate the place.. then pastor asked mi n audrey to go meral to fetch the kids to the church. saw a kitten outside the mosque.. carried it to meral, played with it while waiting for the kids to get ready to go. aicen was injured.. the kitten ran after some guy... i lost it... =( took oplik back to the church in baran dua.

the children practised their dance steps, played n ran around, kept bugging mi to take pictures of them haha.. then we had maggi mee for dinner. the chinese cong adults bought other food for audrey n mi, but i dun like it.. forced myself to eat at least half tho.. dun let the children c mi waste food ma.. when it was around time we went up to the rooftop for performance. it was tough trying to control 30+ kids! after performance we went downstairs to play games. then went out for nightwalk. the treasure hunt plan was a failure. we had no time to play. some of them were not careful n they burnt their lanterns. most of them kept bugging us for new candles after their old ones had burnt out. felt quite angry with some of them.. i was carrying a bigger lantern n they swarmed towards mi to snatch it frm mi!

after we got back to the church i went up to the rooftop while they stayed downstairs to play with sparklers. wiky helped mi n audrey take drinks.. :P the tea was v hot sia... aimei v cute.. after the pple left we helped to clear up the rooftop.. then left.. went back to the hotel.. then pastor suggested we had supper at Long Beach! yay!! ordered mussels, sambal kangkong, sotong kia n prawn omelette. yummy!~ after tt supper went back to the hotel room to bathe n slp.

*~sunday~*

woke up at 7+am.. washed up then packed up our bags to check out. had breakfast.. pastor arrived to drive us to the jetty. bought tempe n pisang goreng to eat on the ferry... beautiful sunrise...
the 2 uncles who came with us drove us back to church for service. there was a guest speaker.. v funny.. after service went for lunch with elohim in paccan. had pizza.. a lot of onions.. =S
went back to church to "study" with the sec 4 students.. kinda recapped my A maths.. not bad hehe.. at 3pm went up to the sanctuary for the Harvest Event Thanksgiving Tea.. specially returned frm balai early in the morning for this event..

after tt esther drove mi home.. *thanks!* =) kinda tired to describe everything in detail...this is as detailed as i can liao.. haha..

Psalm 116
